Meet the Mom Inventor and Founder of Froose^®

Dear Parents and Friends:

When my older children (I have three) were toddlers, I found myself in the somewhat unique position of being an executive with a major food company by day and a frustrated consumer by night (actually, let's face it: by day too!). I was consistently concerned by the lack of nutritious food products for young children in the marketplace. A major culprit of bad nutrition in my household was fruit juice. My son wanted to drink it all day long, filling him with empty calories and leaving him not wanting to eat at mealtime. Long before clini­cal studies proved the link between health problems, obesity and too much juice consumption, my motherly instincts told me that too much juice for young children was not good. I set out to develop a nutritious alternative to juice that would incorporate the whole food: complex carbo­hydrates, vitamins, minerals and fiber- that young children need to grow.

When I designed my product, I was also concerned about pesticides and wanted to use as many organic ingredients as possible. Because we were committed to finding a way to incorporate whole food and all its nutrients in a drinkable form, Froose^® took years to develop and is so innovative, it is actually patented.

The nutritional profile of Froose^® makes it an ideal beverage to drink through out the day and a great “drinkable snack” for finicky eaters or busy children who won’t take the time to stop activities to eat or when they are “on-the-go”.
